Tree #213 is a twelve-year-old Chinese Elm with serious character in the trunk — thick, gnarled, and twisting through tight curves up to an open, artfully sparse canopy. The aged bark and visible pruning scars tell the story of a decade of shaping. It stands about 15 inches tall in a round 8″ plastic training pot, ready for a ceramic pot worthy of it, or happy to keep developing as-is.
