Tree #219 is a twelve-year-old Chinese Elm in a dramatic semi-cascade style — a thick, muscular base makes a hard elbow at the soil and sends the whole trunk sweeping out and down to one side, foliage trailing along its length like a tree grown off a cliff edge. Measured along the trunk it runs about 15 inches, in a round 8″ plastic training pot.
