Tree #302 is a twin-trunk Tiger Bark Ficus — two S-curve trunks rising side by side from the same root base, with aerial roots dropping into the soil and the mottled, speckled bark that gives this variety its name. It stands 18 inches tall with a fresh green canopy about 11 inches across, planted in a dark Chinese zisha pot (10″ × 7″ × 4.5″) with a hand-etched grass motif on a gold band.

Tiger Bark Ficus is one of the easiest bonsai to live with — happy indoors year-round near a bright window, tolerant of the occasional missed watering, and quick to push new growth after a trim.
